Hi, the plugin home page says:

Completely disable Gutenberg Editor, or disable for any post type or user role. So all users always will get the Classic Editor ??

IMHO this description could be improved ??

The “Classic Editor” once Gutenberg is in core, will be a plugin called “Classic Editor”. Users will NOT get the Classic Editor unless they install the Classic Editor plugin as far as I can tell.

So in your quotation above, do you mean the Classic Editor plugin?

If so, users will only get the Classic Editor if they install it.

If it is not installed, does your plugin prompt to install it? (Another similar plugin does offer to do this and I think it is a nice feature).

    Thanks ahead of time….

    Hi,

I just saw in your FAQ:

Is Gutenberg active on the site and do you have the Classic Editor plugin installed? Those two are requirements for this addon plugin to do anything. If you have and the plugin still doesn’t do anything, then please open a support ticket.

Which answers my question, so I will mark this Resolved.

Please do consider clarifying your description….

    Thanks

    Is this true?
There is nothing like that in FAQ…

The FAQ is on the Details page:

    It clearly says:

    FAQ

    Installation Instructions
    Will this work without Gutenberg?

Yes. When Gutenberg is active, the plugin disables it (depending on your selected options). Otherwise, if Gutenberg is not active, the plugin does nothing. So it’s totally fine to install before Gutenberg is added to WP core, so it will be ready when the time comes.
    Got a question?

Thanks, that means that the FAQ has been updated since your initial post.
    It’s much clearer now.
