I installed this on a CentOS server.

Before instaling I verfiied that https://www.sitename .com was working. It was but of course CSS was all messed up.

I installed the RSSSL plugin and inadvertently activated it before changing my WP settings for site_url and home to https:

After that, the site would no longer load as it went into a redirect loop.

I renamed all plugins with a -org prefix.

    Problem remains.

I have an .htaccess file, but it was not touched on that day. (according to the file date)

I have now renamed the entire plugins directory to plugins.oos but the problem remains. Entering https://www.domain.com spins a while, then redicts to https://www.domain.com and loops.

I also run cloudflare and put it in dev mode. All caching has been disabled.

I can usually figure out bad plugin behavior but this one evades me.

I suspect there is now a mess in my database somewhere.

    Please advise.
