Install blog on single page

My Web host offers WordPress. I am trying to install blog on only one page of my site, but it appears to be installing on all of my pages.
What are the options for installing it on one page of my domain?
Is it necessary to create a new domain and link it to my existing site?

I create in html and css, so I am not used to using an editor.
