• Hey, it’s totally fine that you want to make money with your plugins! But I won’t install your plugin to update your plugins. If every developer would do so, I’d have a mess of plugins in my WP.

(The plugin was a good one…)

    Hi @allbutone

    I hope you’re well today!

I appreciate your feedback and I fully understand your concerns about the updates.

It is not required and not needed to install any additional plugin to use or update Branda.

There was, however, an unfortunate bug in one of the earlier versions of the plugin that was causing it. It was an unintentional issue – an unexpected bug. We’ve released a fix for this quickly but it may require manual update on site.

Therefore, if the Branda version installed on your site is trying to “force” you to install WPMU DEV Dashboard in order to update plugin, please do as follows:

    1. download the most recent release (3.4.10) manually to your local drive
    2. and then install it via “Plugins -> Add new -> Upload” tool on site; when asked if to replace existing one with uploaded files – do confirm replacement.

If you have already removed Branda, you can simply install newest release from this plugin repository.

It should not require WPMU DEV Dashboard to perform updates anymore as it was caused by unexpected issue that’s already fixed.

I apologize for the inconvenience that it caused and since you liked the plugin in general (aside for this particular thing) I hope it will serve you well again and maybe even you’d be willing to increase this rating a bit?

    Have a great day,
    Adam
