Looks like your site is not allowed access to Google account data and can’t display stats in the dashboard.

Thanks for reaching out @kylepatterson1. Based on the error you’re facing, it’s possible that the Google account you used to set up Site Kit doesn’t have access to one of the connected Google services, or maybe the Google account you initially used to connect Site Kit changed. So we can determine more on this, please share the following:

    1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.??
    2. Since initially setting up Site Kit, did you connect any additional module such as AdSense, while selecting a different Google account to that first used?

Once we have the above we can advise on this further. Let me know if you have any questions with this. Troubleshoot steps we may advise could include disconnecting and reconnect Site Kit, or checking with other administrators for any changes.

Sorry to hear that @kylepatterson1. I’ve reopened this support topic now. Please share the following so we can assist with this:

    1. Your?Site Health information. You can?use this form?to share privately if preferred.??
    2. Since initially setting up Site Kit, did you connect any additional module such as AdSense, while selecting a different Google account to that first used?

Note that the issue you’re facing indicates that your currently connected Google account does not have access to one of the properties connected in Site Kit. This can occur if another user connected Analytics to a property you don’t have access to, or of there were changes at Google Analytics level. One way around this is to edit your Analytics settings within Site Kit, connecting to a property you do have access to. You can also reset Site Kit and connect once more, however, this will mean you have to connect all modules once more, connecting Analytics to a property which you do have access to.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above.

Update: I can see you shared your Site Health information, many thanks. As I can see that there is only 1 connect user count, and you have AdSense connected, I suspect what happened was when connected AdSense or another module after initially setting up Site Kit, but using a different Google account. Site Kit in such cases switches to that last used Google account, and this account may not have access to the connect Google Analytics property (which was setup using a different Google account).

To troubleshoot this further, can you disconnect the Google Analytics module and connect once more? After doing so, please share whether you see any permissions error from the Site Kit dashboard.

I’m just following up with you to check whether the error remains? If so please share the information requested above and we can investigate further.

Hi @kylepatterson1. Any luck setting up Site Kit in the end? Let me know if you need further assistance with this.

Unfortunetly no. Worked fine for 2+ years, then all of a sudden stopped about 2 months ago. Didn’t change any access to any of the accounts

Sorry to hear it @kylepatterson1. I checked your site now and I can see my site visit is recording in Google Analytics. You can check for a valid snippet placement using the tagassistant.google.com service from your side too if you wish

Can you confirm that you no longer see the “Looks like your site is not allowed access to Google account data and can’t display stats in the dashboard” error, as per your original support request?
