Instalation of wordpress on my addon website

    Hello,
    1. I bought a second domain to start building a new website using my hostgator account.

    2. I installed wordpress as recommended but unfortunately I see the same message over and over again (Server not found) and I cannot make my website run.

    What should I do?

  • When did you register this domain name? Were you aware that it can take up to 72 hours for new domain names to be ready to use?

    I am aware of that, it was registerd around the 10th of May.
    Since I was unable to run it I removed the instalation of wordpress on Quickinstal and installed it using Fantastico deluxe… now I am waiting to see what happens

    Are you able to post or message me your domain name, so I can check your dns records are ok?

    Looks like you do have a DNS issue:

    Firefox can’t find the server at https://www.fantastishirt.com.

    Try asking your hosts for assistance with setting up the new domain correctly.

    The domain fantastishirt.com is pointing at the nameservers, but there aren’t any records for it:

    https://who.is/dns/fantastishirt.com

    Futsall.net is on the following nameservers:

    ns6003.hostgator.com
    ns6004.hostgator.com

    fantastishirt is on these nameservers:

    ns1.hostgator.com
    ns2.hostgator.com

    Try set the nameservers for fantastishirt.com to the ones used for futsall.net and try that.

    I’m from Huddersfield Hosting, not Hostgator, but understand for some outside of WordPress, it’s confusing.
