    Hello,

I use WPZOOM Instagram widget on a client’s website and while it works very well, the Instagram token does not renew automatically : I have to check my client’s website every 2 months to reconnect his Instagram account by hand, which is not very convenient. I use the Instagram token from https://www.wpzoom.com/instagram-auth/ to connect his account to the plugin.

Do you know how to fix it ? Is it mandatory to use the “ID + password” method to connect so the token renews automatically ?

    Thanks

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi, @solveigdc

This issue could be caused by some server restrictions, a security plugin if you use one or it might be that WP Cron is disabled on your website.

Hello Ina and thanks for your answer.

The issue is not caused by server restrictions and WP Cron is not disabled.
I am checking security plugins, we use Sucuri Security and Easy Updates Manager on the website. Did you already meet renewing problems with these ones ?

    Hi, @solveigdc

We didn’t test our plugin with the plugins mentioned by you. Something is blocking the access of third party apps to your website. Most probably it’s the security plugin, so please check its settings and try adding the Instagram Widget plugin as an exception.

    Hello Ina,

Sucuri should not block the renewing. I added the Instagram widget as an exception in Easy Updates Manager, we’ll see in 58 days if it worked !

    Thanks for your help
