Instagram Shortcode Not working WordPress 5.0

I have taken the shortcode out for now, as it wasn’t showing the images when using the shortcode within the text editor section of the page. Is there an update coming to be compatible with WordPress 5.0, as the widget works on the footer area, but not in the new text editor by WordPress?
