    Hi Guys,

I’m having problems connecting Blog2Social with my Instagram account.

I noticed earlier in the week that my account might have been compromised, so I changed my password on there.

It wouldn’t work again today though, even with the new password, so I went into the Instagram website and I did notice (on Instagram) that my password had been compromised again – so I changed the password again.

Then I noticed that there was a message on B2S saying that ‘any server from Cologne is ok as that’s where the Blog to Social server is located’.

So as far as I’m concerned, I deleted the authorisation and set a new one up (with my new new password), and it still won’t let me login to authorise the account.

Now I did notice on a few media channels, that Facebook and Instagram were having problems with logons earlier in the week – is that likely to be the problem?

    Hello,

    Thanks for reaching out.

There have been temporary interruptions with the Instagram interface for the Personal Instagram Profile. We have been working hard to make the network connection available again.

To be able to connect your Personal Instagram Profile please be so kind and follow these steps:
    1) Go to your Blog2Social dashboard and
    2) click on “Networks”.
    3) Go to Instagram and connect your Personal Instagram Profile by clicking “+Personal” and
    4) enter your login data.

If it is still not working for you afterwards the following guide shows you the most common issues and solutions for connecting your Instagram account with Blog2Social:
Connecting Instagram – Things to check

Please let me know if it works for you or if you have further questions.

    No, still no authorisation.

I had some hopes when my mobile wouldn’t let me in, due to a changed password, but it was all dashed when I tried to connect Blog2Social with the new one.

Looks like I’ll have to wait until you get the network connection running.

    One more point:

On the authorisation settings, I’ve always used my email address, which worked fine.

Reading through the ‘things to check’ link above though, it says to login with your username.

Not that any of these are solutions as yet, but should it be username or email address?

Meanwhile, I’m having to post using the web version of Insta (can’t be bothered with the mobile version), but it’s playing havoc with my blog submissions on there.

Stranger and stranger – I’ve just been able to login using my email address and password.

Let’s hope that Insta has been given a good kick.
