Instagram feed won't show

Hey John,

I’ve just check my access token and it works fine. I used the User ID and not username. Both <?php wp_footer(); ?> and <?php wp_header(); ?> are included.

However, the images do not show up in the footer widget.

I am not sure what the problem is. Would you please help me.

When viewing your site I’m seeing the photos displayed in your footer (screenshot). Were you able to resolve the issue or do you still need support?

Well I think it should be from my ISP or some filtering problem.

I live in Iran. You may know that Instagram and some other social networks are forbidden here.

What do you think? Is that possible? If so, do you suggest any solution?

It sounds like that could be the problem. Are you able to use a proxy to access Instagram or to check your site? If so, it might be worth checking it that way. You could also try checking whether your web browser has any add-ons or extensions installed which might be blocking social media photos. Either way, when I check the site on my end I’m able to see the photos in your feed and so it’s likely just an issue viewing them on your end due to Instagram being blocked.

I have a similar problem, and have renewed my Token. but it still tells me that “Access Token is not valid”

I can se i get an error on line 289.
[Error] TypeError: undefined is not an object (evaluating ‘data.data.username’)

Could you send me your System Info from the plugin’s ‘Support’ tab and also a link to the page where you’re displaying the feed so that I can take a look? When you say you’re receiving a 404 error could you clarify when/where you’re getting that page? Is it when you try to view the Instagram feed on your page, when you try to obtain your Access Token, when you try to save your plugin settings? The more information you can provide the better.

Hi John,

Sorry – After I’ve entered the access token and user ID number and then press ‘save changes’ – then i get the message error 404. My Instagram is public.

Thanks for the clarification. It sounds like the Access Token in the settings page URL is causing your site to redirect to a 404 error page. If you follow the directions in this FAQ then it should solve the problem for you.

I went through this feed and tried some of the things suggested and my Instagram just won’t show I don’t know what to do. I updated the plugin, I didn’t change my password either. Could you look at my site and see if you can figure out what’s wrong –
