    Today I received this message: “Feed Them Social (Notice visible to Admin only). Instagram returned: The Legacy API is depreciated as of March 31st, 2020 in favor of the new Instagram Graph API and the Instagram Basic Display API. Please go to the Instgram Options page of our plugin and reconnect your account and generate a new shortcode and replace your existing one.”
    I followed the steps listed above and used the new shortcode, I cleared Global Cache settings within the plugin, and also website cache and browser cache, but I’m still getting the same error. Does anybody else have the same problem?

    Hi @olivseo,

    Instagram was supposed to depreciate their Legacy API today. At the zero hour, they decided to extend their Legacy API for 90 more days.

    Our Feed Them Social (version 2.8.3.1) complied with their new Instagram Graph API and anyone who updates to 2.8.3.1 must relink their Instagram account and replace any existing shortcodes.

    Anyone running FTS 2.8.3 or earlier, can stay on the Legacy API for 90 more days, until Instagram terminates the Legacy API.

    @slickchris Thank you for your quick response. So I relinked the Instagram account and used new shortcode, but it’s still not working, and it is still showing me the message about new API. Like I mentioned earlier, I did clear Global Cache, and website cache, but still having an issue.

    Hi @olivseo,

    Once you have updated to free version 2.8.3.1 then you will need to relink your Instagram account (for Instagram “Basic Feed”) and relink your Facebook account (for Instagram “Business feed”). Then regenerate a new shortcode(s) and apply in place of your old shortcode(s).

    Also possible, that after all that is done and new shortcode applied, you may need to clear FTS cache.

    @slickchris Thank you. It looks like the issue got fixed and it is showing now.
