Instagram feed does not show posts

    Hi,
    I tried to add instagram feed but it is not showing up on the front end. Fetched access token in instagram options and it says “Your access token is working! Generate your shortcode on the Settings Page”. So everything should be good.

    Now when I create shortcode and paste it to a page it does not show instagram posts even tho there is posts on the account? Shows just empty <div> tags.

    First I thought this was problem with recent instagram api changes. So I fetched the token and id again but nothing changed.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Im using version: 2.8.3.1

    Hi @anttir,

    Instagram has changed a few things with regards to their new API and depreciating their old Legacy API. You will need to be running the latest free version of Feed Them Social (currently 2.8.3.1), reconnect your Instagram account, generate a new shortcode(s) and replace your old shortcode(s), you then may need to clear the FTS cache as well.

    To use our Feed Them Social plugins with Instagram’s new APIs (the Instagram Graph API and the Instagram Basic Display API), you may be required to create an Instagram Business account and link your Instagram account to your Facebook Business. Instructions here

    I am running version 2.8.3.1 and reconnected instagram account multiple times but still nothing.
    What I think the problem is that my instagram account only has IGTV content and that is not supported?
    Does your plugin support IGTV videos? Should they be showing up in the feed?

    Hi @anttir,

    Yes, that will definitely be the issue. Our plugin does not support IGTV at this time. We hope to address this in a future update, but unfortunately do not have a timeframe for IGTV support.
