Instagram Embed

  • Hello Community,

    i have an issue with my website, which targets instagram posts.
    Since October I am familiar with a problem which involves, that instagram posts are no,longer shown on WordPress if you don’t have a plugin for that.
    But My Instagram Links are not even getting recognised as instagram posts. And are just getting displayed as links and are not embeded.

    So, after I couldn’t find a solution online I have to ask you, if I did something wrong.

  • You described the problem accurately, but still ask if you did something wrong.
    Do you have a plugin for Instagram now? If not, that’s why it doesn’t work the way you want. If you do have a plugin, please ask at the plugin’s support forum.

    It seems like you understand, but then don’t understand. The reality is that Instagram changed its policy (October 24), then WordPress removed embed support for it.
