• Hi!

Whenever I embed an Instagram post in one of my articles, it turns into a link. At first it works fine, but then I return later and see that it instead of the IG photo, it’s just a link. I’ve tried almost everything I’ve found online: just posting the link, embedding with the IG embed code, only using https:// and no www.

I’m a bit at loss here. Here is the article for example:

    Can anyone help me?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • How are you doing the embedding? Are you just pasting the link in the editor? Or getting embed code from somewhere. What does the embed code look like?

    Hi!

    I’ve tried multiple ways:
    1. I’ve added it by clicking on adding media and using a link. Then it always looks like it’s working first but after a while it turns into a link. The link then looks like this: https://www.instagram.com/p/BYL1o45A0Zg/?taken-by=chaptertravel or https://instagram.com/p/BYL1o45A0Zg/?taken-by=chaptertravel.

    2. I’ve tried embedding by going to the photo, clicking the three dots and clicking “embed”. I then copy the code into the text part of my article. The embed code looks like this:

    <div style=”padding:8px;”> <div style=” background:#F8F8F8; line-height:0; margin-top:40px; padding:62.5% 0; text-align:center; width:100%;”> <div style=” background:url(data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAACwAAAAsCAMAAAApWqozAAAABGdBTUEAALGPC/xhBQAAAAFzUkdCAK7OHOkAAAAMUExURczMzPf399fX1+bm5mzY9AMAAADiSURBVDjLvZXbEsMgCES5/P8/t9FuRVCRmU73JWlzosgSIIZURCjo/ad+EQJJB4Hv8BFt+IDpQoCx1wjOSBFhh2XssxEIYn3ulI/6MNReE07UIWJEv8UEOWDS88LY97kqyTliJKKtuYBbruAyVh5wOHiXmpi5we58Ek028czwyuQdLKPG1Bkb4NnM+VeAnfHqn1k4+GPT6uGQcvu2h2OVuIf/gWUFyy8OWEpdyZSa3aVCqpVoVvzZZ2VTnn2wU8qzVjDDetO90GSy9mVLqtgYSy231MxrY6I2gGqjrTY0L8fxCxfCBbhWrsYYAAAAAElFTkSuQmCC); display:block; height:44px; margin:0 auto -44px; position:relative; top:-22px; width:44px;”></div></div> <p style=” margin:8px 0 0 0; padding:0 4px;”> ???? Beautiful Bayon Temple</p> <p style=” color:#c9c8cd; font-family:Arial,sans-serif; font-size:14px; line-height:17px; margin-bottom:0; margin-top:8px; overflow:hidden; padding:8px 0 7px; text-align:center; text-overflow:ellipsis; white-space:nowrap;”>A post shared by Travellers – Lisanne & Jeffrey (@chaptertravel) on <time style=” font-family:Arial,sans-serif; font-size:14px; line-height:17px;” datetime=”2017-08-24T17:30:03+00:00″>Aug 24, 2017 at 10:30am PDT</time></p></div>

    <script async defer src=”//platform.instagram.com/en_US/embeds.js”></script>

When I do this it just turns into a blank IG photo, so without the picture. I hope you can help me. Thanks!
