What is meant by “social media tools” please?

Unfortunately my customer is unable to link their Facebook page and Instagram Business accounts together, so Blog2social just comes up with a “unable to find page” message when trying to setup Instagram.

Unfortunately our client cannot link their Instagram account with their Facebook page as they keep running in to the error: “You must be an admin of the associated page’s business in Business Manager to confirm the Instagram account”. Unfortunately all efforts to allow this have failed.

That’s correct, please be so kind as to make sure that the Facebook profile of your client is an admin of the associated Facebook page to connect it to his Instagram Business account.

May I ask you where you are facing this error?

The error comes up both when trying to confirm the connection via the Instagram mobile app, and when the button to confirm the connection is greyed out/unavailable from within the Facebook Instagram settings area.

I think the issue is that the Facebook page is owned by a “business” that nobody has access to, even though administrators have been added to the page itself. Either way, nobody is able to confirm the connection and so WordPress > Instagram is no longer possible.

Thanks for letting us know about this.

I am afraid this issue is outside our sphere of influence.
The connection between Facebook and Instagram is a Facebook requirement for all third-party tools to work with Instagram.
Please try to find someone with admin access to this Facebook page or set up and connect another Facebook page. You could also contact Facebook for clarification of admin rights and access to this page.
Once the connection is set and approved Blog2Social will work smoothly.
