insta writing to email

im not real sure on how to use the posting by email feature.

but from what i understand, after sending the email to be posted, i have to visite the wp-email.php file for it to be posted.

isnt the purpose of posting by email so that you don’t have to get on a browser? so that way you could post directly from anywhere?
