Insight stats are always a day behind.

Each day I check my stats and they never show yesterday’s stats appropriately. They are always a day behind. For example: Today I went into Insights and see that yesterday I only had 600+ visits. However, tomorrow, when I look at yesterday’s stats, the stats will show the normal visits, of like 1,500+/-. Why is that and what can I do to correct this?

I’d like to be able to view the correct day before’s stats, without having to wait 2 days to get them.

Thank you for your response and assistance.

    Take care and be well.

    Hi @critterscience,

    Thanks for reaching out!

The issue you’re experiencing is likely due to Google’s processing delays causing a wait time before data appears in reports. Due to these delays, sometimes you’ll only see partial data for Yesterday’s numbers because the data collected is still being processed. If there is no data yet or only partial data in reports within your GA4 property, then that’ll be reflected in MonsterInsights reports as well. I’m sorry about that!

As far as we’re aware, processing delays do not affect the Realtime report, so you can check out that report at analytics.google.com if you’d like to see the most recent activity on your website.

To have things as accurate as possible, our recommendation would be to check and adjust your Timezone settings for your Google Analytics property and WordPress website so that they match up.

    Here are the steps:

Log into your WordPress website and go to Settings ? General and view Timezone https://a.supportally.com/N2n9Iq

Go to analytics.google.com ? Admin ? Property Settings for your website’s property and check the reporting time zone https://a.supportally.com/i/GrUIg4

Please update them so they match and moving forward your analytics will adjust.

I hope this helps, but let me know if you have further questions.

    Thanks!

    Hi @critterscience,

We haven’t heard back from you in about a week, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like for us to assist further, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.

    Thanks!
