• Hi… I am new. I have scanned the forum and can’t find anything on this topic… I am sure it’s here somewhere.. just can’t find it.

I would like to insert my blog into my website. Is there a way to do this?
    thanks

  • You’ll need to provide way more info to get a useful answer.
What do you mean by “inserting”? Describe your site’s structure. Will you show the blog separately, too – or only integrated in your existing site? Do you want to show the whole blog in your site or only the latest posts…? etc.

    Hi Moshu.
I am building my site through Blue Voda site builder and would like to integrate it into my site, showing the whole blog.
Does that help? Can you tell I am a novice?
    thanks

Well, if you are a self-appointed novice… I wouldn’t try to “combine” WP with any other webmaker gizmo, especially NOT with a wysiwyg editor (like BV).
You cannot open WP files in any wysiwyg editor – don’t even try, it will just mess up everything.

If you are new, some good readings:

    For designing your WP theme:

Note. None of the designing tutorials work with wysisyg type editors like your BlueVoda.

What the heck is wysiwyg??? Are ya cussin’ at me? LOL I know you weren’t… but I couldn’t tell you what those initials stand for to save my life…. such a newbie.
Okay I can’t integrate WP into BV… got it.

Can I save my website template page and install that into my WP blog so it looks the same? If so, what file type?
Thanks Moshu… I really appreciate the help!

wysiwyg (you can always google for anything unknown to you!) stands for: What You See Is What You Get, the kind of editor that doesn’t “bore” you with code and shows only the end-result.

The answer to your second question is found by visiting the two last links in my previous reply and reading ALL the articles there ??
It is more complicated than you think and it really requires a bit more knowledge of WP, (X)HTML, and CSS.
