Inserting Images into Post

  • How do I insert photos into the text portion of a post? I have another wordpress site and have never had any problems doing this. With the twenty sixteen theme when I go to insert the picture it allows me to upload it to the site in the edit phase, but then it doesn’t show up on the page when I preview or post.

    Any suggestions?

  • After you insert the photo into the “content / text box”.. are you remembering to hit “Update”

    I know it’s a basic step, but this is what it sounds like.

    Thanks for the quick reply. When I went back to try it again this morning I was able to insert pics into the text. So I don’t know what was going on yesterday…a glitch?

    Anyhow, I appreciate your help.

    Also, something else to run by you if you don’t mind. Any idea why I can’t get the “About” page to show up. I made the page and “updated” it, but it’s nowhere to be found on my main page.

    Looks like on the twenty-sixteen demo there is a clear header for “About.” Just wondering what I might be doing wrong.
