Inserting Images from Media Gallery

  • Pre-apologies for lame question.

    I have posted a few images to my Media Gallery. When I am updating a post, I can’t seem to insert any of them.

    I click the image icon above the text window on “edit page” screen
    I click the Media Library tab on the pop-up window.
    I can see the image I wish to post.

    But, the only option at this point is a “Save Changes” button.

    I don’t have an “insert image” option.

    I must be making a very obvious mistake, but, I can’t figure it out.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
