Inserting custom code in header and nav menus

  • Wondering if/how WP Coder can support code insertion into nav menus, the header, and other non-page based parts of a WP site? A couple examples:

    1. I need to insert icons and social buttons into my site’s nav menu.

    2. Need to add logo image and HTML5 video code to the header (full screen background video)

    Currently I’m using js to do this but I’m looking for a supportable solution so that theme updates won’t break the site.
