Inserting content across divs

  • I am creating a custom responsive page layout and I want to display the featured images (and eventually the post titles and other information) across multiple divs.

    I have posted the code here and you can see the order I want the images to appear via the comments.

    Can anyone point me in the right direction as to how I get these to display?
