Inserting a second “more” link in the middle of a paragraph

When I blog, I like to include my “more” links within the flow of a paragraph of text in addition to the standard placement at the end of that paragraph (where it makes the split at <!--more-->). When I type my posts in the Edit Screen, is there a way for me to link an excerpt of text to whatever the “more” link is? Right now I have to publish the post, copy the “more” link from its standard location, and then paste it as the link location of the text in the middle of the paragraph.
