insert/edit link doesn't work in IE or Firefox

  • Hello;

    Only when I am in Google Chrome can I go into edit a post, highlight a link to inspect it, and click the insert/edit icon to see the link. If I do this in Firefox or Explorer the insert/edit window opens but I cannot see the link URL. Is this a WordPress bug or some corrupted file?

  • Hi, this could be an issue with your browser.

    Try and delete all cache on your browser and try again.

    Also make sure that you have the latest version of what ever browser you are using. Make sure you have the latest version of flash and java plugins installed and then do a test. Be aware that sometimes the latest version of Fash or java plugins can also cause problems with some versions of the browser that you might be using.
