Insert/Edit Link: Cancel & Insert Missing

  • I just upgraded yesterday to 2.1. Love the new features and fixes! The only problem I’ve noticed so far is that when I try to add a link using the visual editor, the normal box comes up, but the buttons “Cancel” and “Insert” are missing. If I tab a couple times, they appear (and everything else in the box disappears). However, they don’t work, and I can’t close the box. The only way to get out is to navigate to a different page and then come back.

    Any idea if:

    1. this is a bug in 2.1,
    2. there was a problem with my upgrade, or
    3. there’s a compatibility issue with a plugin?

    Two additional items. (1) I don’t have this problem on my computer at home, only my computer at work. Not sure why. (2) I cleared my browser cache, and the problem almost went away. Now everything looks and acts properly, excerpt that the insert button doesn’t work. Not sure what’s going on.

    Some users reported similar erros and solutions: it was the browser.
