    insertBlock() stopped working when only when it was called from the Gutenberg block component constructor. However it worked ok after it was moved to the component’s componentDidMount() function.

    @meyertreestone – Thanks for reporting back after so long!

    You appear to be using at least two different accounts. (the other username is meyerauslander) That’s a problem in these forums. One account per person please. Bad people use multiple accounts as a mechanism for nefarious purposes. I can see you’re not one of them. Which account do you wish to keep?
