Insert & upload Image not working 4.1.1

Have you tried deactivating ALL plugins and switching to a default theme to see if any of those are causing this issue?

I have read hundreds of blogs with people with the same problem going right back to 2006 but more so over the last auto update of 4.1.1
So i’m not alone.
I am worried about doing what you suggest as i spent a lot of money getting this website built for me and i would hate to lose anything.

No worries, but you will need to try deactivating all plugins and switching to Twenty Fifteen theme to see if any of your plugins or your theme is causing this problem.

it was all working fine until the update. i hadnt touched a thing.The theme i have was specially built for me, if i screw something up i am in BIG trouble my friend.

Doing this is standard troubleshooting – you won’t lose anything – it’s a temporary step to identify what may be causing this issue.

But I just looked at your site more closely, and you have some incorrect code at the top of your site – did you modify anything in the header.php file?

no i didnt touch that and wouldnt know how, but i did notice a white line across the top that wasnt there before?

i kept regular updates of my site? how do i do this please?

Do you mean backups? How did you backup?

my designer set regular back ups, i get an email once a day to say its been backed up

my network provider has just said he is scanning my site!
