Insert Slideshow into Text Widget?

Hey Jeffrey. i was wondering if its possible to insert your slideshow plugin into a text widget? if not, is there any way i can get it into my sidebar? i know the slideshow will have to be relatively small. The theme im currently using is The Pinboard Theme by One Designs.
