    Hello to all,
I should insert photos but I would like to know if it is possible to import the caption together with the photos. I’ll explain. The customer will give me the photos and a file with the captions, can I import the photos with the associated caption to avoid inserting them all by hand? How should I prepare the material to do such a thing?

    Thank you all

  • Dear @designemotions,

If you upload the images to the gallery plugin, the titles will appear under Alt/Title tab of the gallery. You can check the result here: https://www.loom.com/share/e6e018b408214379bef4a156467c7fb1

Please make sure to enable “Auto-fill metadata” from the gallery options:

Let us know if any questions arise.

    Hello,
Thanks for the reply. I saw the video, however, I cannot give the names to the files which must then appear as title in the front-end because they would be too long. We should make sure that we can upload a file separately where I can match a title to a file name. I think of an xml for example, just because the name of my file does not correspond to the title that I would like to insert. But it seems to me not possible …

    Dear @designemotions,

    Thank you for the details.

Unfortunately, our plugin can’t meet those requirements.

There is no option for uploading a separate file and matching the names.

Hope you find a product that will work as you want to.

    Sincerely,
