    hi,
this plugin is really useful and very simple to use.
however I cannot find any manual for other shortcodes than [facebook_events].
I was trying to get events show up on two different pages on my wp-site:
-Upcoming Events: this should show upcoming (future) events
-Past Events: this should show past events
I created a category named “archive” for old facebook events. It’s great: FB-Events with this label DON’T show up when I use the shortcode [facebook_events]. This is what I want.

But how can I display ONLY the FB-Events from the “archive” category? Must be something like [facebook_events category:”archive”] (<- I made this up!)

Thank you a lot in advance!
    Kind regards,
    oystersauce

    Hello @oyastersauce,

Currently there is no shortcode option available for category wise events, but we will implement it in our upcoming release.

    Thanks,

    Hello @oyastersauce,

We had added category filter in shortcode in our latest version 1.1.2. here is shortcode Example.

    [facebook_events col=’2′ posts_per_page=’12’ category=”cat1,cat2″]
    *Note: cat1,cat2 are category slug.

    Thanks

    Hi there,
thanks for the super fast reply!
    Good to hear it.

Is there any way I can achieve the same without a shortcode?
If yes, I don’t want to bother you asking for a full explaination but any hint would be great.

Or is the same possible in the PRO-Version by any chance?

    kind regards,

    Hello @oyastersauce,

you can get particular category’s event at https://example.com/facebook_category/category-slug/, but it does not give you grid layout events. Based on theme event listing will be displayed.

Hope this is helpful, let me ask if you fill any confusion

    Thanks,
