• Good afternoon,

I’m developping my website https://www.jetlag.world using the cubic theme.
    Several questions I couldn’t resolve:
    1) Can I use my logo instead of the title? If yes, how?
    2) When I click on a picture and go to a post page, can I hide the “similar posts” (everything, the title and the 3 posts appearing). The idea is to have the picture and directly under the comments. Is it possible?
    3) On the main page, in the header, can I add a button leading to a submission form? (the idea is that visitors can click on it and submit their story).

Thanks a lot, that’s a beautiful and easy to use theme by the way.
    Ben

  • Hi Ben,

    1) Can I use my logo instead of the title? If yes, how?

Absolutely! The first step is to upload your logo under the “Site Title, Tagline, and Logo” panel of the Customizer (the tool that’s accessed via Appearance > Customize in your admin area). You can then uncheck the box next to “Display Header Text” to display only your logo.

    2) When I click on a picture and go to a post page, can I hide the “similar posts” (everything, the title and the 3 posts appearing). The idea is to have the picture and directly under the comments. Is it possible?

You can disable related posts by navigating to Settings > Reading in your admin area, as described here:

    https://jetpack.com/support/related-posts/

    3) On the main page, in the header, can I add a button leading to a submission form? (the idea is that visitors can click on it and submit their story).

Cubic is a child theme to Boardwalk, which makes it a little trickier to edit/add HTML to the header area.

(If you’re not sure what a child theme is, I recommend this video introduction and this guide in the Codex.)

You could consider adding to the site’s primary menu, this link could then be styled to look like a button. It could link to a page that includes Jetpack’s contact form.

I can also see you’ve added a contact form to one of your site’s widget areas, which is also a good idea.

Let me know how you decide to go forward with that or if any extra questions come up.
