I am using the Advanced Editor in TablePress to add links from the cell text to media items. When I select the ‘link’ button the link popup box appears behind the advanced editor popup box and so I can’t access the link popup box. I wondered if this was a browser issue but Firefox, Edge, EdgeChromium, and Chrome all do the same thing.
    Any tips?

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Normally, the Link popup appears above the Advanced Editor. Here, I assume that your theme or another plugin are somehow interfering. Can you therefore please try again after temporarily deactivating all other plugins and after switching to a WordPress default theme like Twenty Sixteen? That way, we can find what’s causing this.

In the meantime, I suggest to either type in the HTML code for the link manually or to use the “Insert Link” button directly, i.e. outside of the Advanced Editor.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi Tobias
Thanks for your speedy reply. I don’t have control of the theme because my page is part of a bigger website, so I have used an HTML link generator and pasted in the link as a work-around.
    thanks for the idea
