The same happens when I want to put a link in an anchor text.

    Have you tried:

    – Working through the solutions suggested in Troubleshooting WordPress 3.1 – Master List

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    Hi esmi,

I did all of the above, but I still have the problem of not being able to see any of the images I uploaded.

I can upload the images, but the thumbnail shows as a blank with the button “EDIT”, and then when I go to insert the image into my post, the image is absolutely blank with an icon like there’s a broken image link.

Any help would be great, thank you!

Guys, what I did is I spoke with my hosting support in Bluehost.com and they had a backup of my blog an hour before I installed WP 3.1, so they reset everything as it was before the installation, but I still have the older version, which is fine of course. It works perfectly. My mistake was to install WP3.1 just by clicking on the “WordPress 3.1” button on my Dashboard. I saw a tutorial video somewhere that show how we actually should install it. It’s not just a click of a button. I will install it later on, the right way this time

Yes, mine took less than a sec; just that click

I installed from a fresh 3.1 download through ftp.
