I have tried to insert an image on my homepage but it just shows the file location. I’ve tried copying and pasting “permalink”, “file URL”, and file name (img.gif). Nothing works. I’m using the Responsive theme, and have even made my image slightly smaller than the “Cyberchip” or whatever is there now.

    Hello,

Could you please share a link to your site?

Further, can you try adding new Media on Homepage using the ‘Add Media’ button?

    Yes, the site is https//www.mccasa.ca

I am completely used to adding new media, and have even made the picture I want to insert the same size as the CyberChimp on the original home page of Responsive. (The picture is actually there, only lower). That picture I really want where the hyperlink gif-thing is now.

    Hi,

    Sorry for the late reply.
Since its being some time now, I think the issue may have been resolved.

I checked the website, there is a gif image in the header. If thats not what was required, you can try uploading a new image from:
Customize > Header Image > Add New Image

    Thanks
