Insert Image not working in TablePress after WP update to 5.3

    Since I updated to WordPress 5.3 yesterday the insert image is no longer working. It opens the initial media page but dragging and dropping fails and selecting the Upload Files tab results in a blank page. Uploading (etc.) in Media directly works properly, it is only when attempting to do this directly in TablePress. Thoughts? Thank you.

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    I can’t reproduce this on my test sites, so that I assume that something else on your site is interfering. Can you therefore please try again after temporarily deactivating all other plugins and after switching to a WordPress default theme like Twenty Twenty? That way, we can find what’s causing this.

    I have found the problem is with the plugin – Enhanced Media Library. If I deactivate this plugin it works again. Good to know what is causing the issue – not sure how to proceed however.

    I have at least for now deactivated the Enhanced Media Library as this is more important.

    good to hear that you found the cause! Leaving that plugin deactivated might be the best solution for now.
