Insert image into page not working with WP 3.5

  • The insert into page/post isn’t working for me on my site with WP 3.5

    I turned off all of my plugins and tried using Twenty Twelve and Twenty Eleven instead of Basic by Themify as suggested on other posts on this topic and the insert into page/post is still very much dead in the water. I made it work with using the good old fashioned <img src=> but that’s not goping to work for my clients.

    I’m open to other suggestions!

    There are two insert methods, one wp and the other uses the browser. Have you tried both? Exactly what happens? And please post a link to your site.

    I use Chrome and flushed the cache after deactivating all off the plugins and I also tried to use the insert into page function on Firefox and still no go.

    I’m not sure what you mean by two insert methods.

    The one I’m trying to use would be the one where one clicks the Add Media button above the input field, select an image and then click Insert into post.

    However when I do this it doesn’t insert any code into the page/post. I’m presuming that this would be the wp method.

    I am having the same problem. Point regarding your question. When click on the Media link you are taken to a screen.
    If you view it carefully there are actually two options.. not “real” obvious.
    One method opens a window with an icon in the center which you click and proceed to select you image.
    The other is a browser..kind like searching for a file on the local machine.. not using wp.. I hope this makes sense.
    I am using ThemeMagic Pro…
    I tried other themes too..
    I do not think it is s2memeber pro doing it..
    Also I am not able to see my reply to post or leave comment..
