• Can anyone help me track down a plug-in or script that will allow me to upload an image or take a screen shot based on a URL. So, if I were to put in cnn.com, it would take a screen-shot of that page and insert it into my post.

Any help would be greatly appreciated…Thanks!

  • I think websites that have large site directories with associated screen shots put them there manually. Otherwise you need some complex spidering program to do what you are asking for. If I needed to do this I would just hit the Print Screen key and resize the image in an editor and upload and link that.

    Hi,

You can use the CForm plugin and create a form for your site and set the path from the settings to the directory in which you want tpo be upload the images/video and set the 766 recursive permissions to that directory..

For the screenshot I do not think that can be done with any plugin but you cna try with this:

And make necessary changes in hard code..

    Thanks,

Thanks Shane. Have you ever used that plugin? I installed and activated it but not sure what to do from there. The owners website doesn’t have much more info. I’ll try contacting them too.
