Insert Icon > Choose Icon = search disabled?

  • I’m inserting an icon from the Virtue library of icons, click the dropbox and I see there’s a “search” function in the “choose icon” field. I try clicking inside the text box but won’t allow a search. I’m left with manually scrolling through the list of icons.

    Is this a known bug?

  • Where are you trying to add the icons? I just tested in the top bar icon menu area, and I’m able to search the icons.

    • Edit Page
    • Add Row
    • Add Widget > SiteOrigin Editor
    • Go into SO Editor box, click on “Insert Icon” icon in the toolbar ribbon.
    • Insert Icon option box appears
    • Click on “Choose Icon”
    • There is a search field directly above the list if “icon-[name]”
    • The “search” field is null, cannot click into it.

    It is definitely a bit buggy in those sections, but you can search the icons if you just click the drop down once and start typing. This is something that the theme dev will have to address.
