Insert from Word

    Hi everybody,

    since the update to 3.9 there’s no longer that button “insert from Word”, so when I now try to insert a spreadsheet, it shows only the text, the formatting however is gone. The same happens with lists/enumerations. This really hinders my work. Is there anything I can do so the formatting from Word remains intact in WP, just like it used to be until yesterday?

  • Try inserting the document using the text editor and not the visual editor. The paste from Word button has disappeared because WordPress automatically strips the formatting that Word puts into documents.
