insert events in newsletters

Hi,
I would love to see an option to not only choose from posts, pages or downloads, but also from upcoming events to fill my newsletter.

Are you planning to add this possibility, and if so, with which plugin(s) will this be compatible? I’m using Spiffy Calendar at the moment, a rather simple but effective plugin.
