Insert duplicate instead of overwrite

Hi,

I am currently trying to import data to the Sportspress Plugin.
One of custom fields of the event entity type is named “sp_team”.
This field has to be added twice to the postmeta table with different values.

Detailed explanation:
Sportspress is used to show sport events, leagues and teams within a wordpress site.
Events are having multiple custom fields. To assign a related team to an event, sportspress adds the field “sp_team” two times to the metadata table (Home team and guest team).

What I have tried for now is that I added the custom field two times to the importer.
The issue I am facing now is that the value of the second field, overwrites the value of the first field, instead of getting added a second time.

Is there any way to workaround that?
