• Usually I am good at finding plugins or hacks to get what I want in WordPress. But now I need to ask the question here.

    What I am looking for:
A Plugin (would be best of course) that allows me to define certain “templates” (usually Text/HTML) that can later be inserted into the content (TinyMCE)by pushing some insert-custom-content-button.

This is for a site where I have different pieces of HTML that I will use several times, like a Table, all fancied up and I want to insert that with just a click and then only have to edit the contents of the table.

Did I manage to make myself clear?
Is there something like that on the market?
Thanks so much for any suggestions!
    Anja

  • Good question – I want the same ability to insert shortcodes and the like with a click.

For example, there’s a plugin that makes tabs. I’d like the tab markup for 4 standard tabs to go into the edit window with a click so I don’t have to remember how to type it every time.

Surely there is already such a thing…

oh, okay, I’m having a look at this
    Post snippets plugin

    Let’s see how it goes.
