    Hi there,

first of all, thanks for you’re great plugin and work ??

i am planing to use your plugin on my clients website and buying some of your extensions, too. Because of that i need some technical details.

In my table i need a row where i want to place clickable icons.
I am using the visual composer plugin with my theme where icons from Font-Awesome are included. I want to use an icon (a shopping cart) and place it aside several product entries on my table. The user can click there to visit the shop page.
There will be dozens of different links, since every product will have his own shop detail page.

That’s why i am searching for a good and effectiv way to maintain the content of the tables.
Of course, it would a practical way to use Excel and import those data into tablepress, but i don’t know if this will work together with the icons.

I hope i made myself clear and i would appreciate any thoughts or hints ??

    thanks!

    regards from germany
    Michael

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

I’m not really sure that I see an efficient way here. You’d have to manually fill that table, with the relevant HTML for the links and icons.

Another (and more flexible) way could be to not use TablePress for these tables but to generate the on the fly, e.g. in a special page template. There, you could for example retrieve the necessary information (link URLs, product IDs, …) from Custom Fields of the page and then construct the table HTML code with PHP.

    Regards,
    Tobias
