Yes, that’s possible, but it’s not super easy. Your best chance is to try to understand how TablePress does it, e.g. when saving a table after a user makes changes. This is in the function at https://github.com/TobiasBg/TablePress/blob/master/controllers/controller-admin_ajax.php#L68

Mainly, you’ll have to load the table from the database, make chances, run everything to a validation check and then save the table again.
