Insert a link in articles

  • I just downloadad the newest version of wordpress. I wrote an artickle, marked a word in the text and wanted to insert a link to an external website. As it should be, the windos opens which allows you to inserat the link. But unfortunatly, I am not able to write in the first line of the “link window”. It seems to be closed. Does somebody have similar problems?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.
