inser/ edit link button not working

I’ve been having the same issue since upgrading to 3.5.1. Not as easy of an upgrade as previous releases. I’m finding a whole host of folks having trouble with this issue. Some recommending updating php files, which is always a bit intimidating if you’re trying to stay out of the code.

I dont want to mess with the code ?? not my expertise. lol.. Its a bit frustrating though.
