"insecure content" warnings only my store page.

  • Hi,

    I used your plugin after activating ssl certificate for my site. I had a bunch of http links breaking up the site Im also running w3 total cache. I ran your plugin and it fixed almost everything except my shop page. https://www.embracespa.com/shop/ It seems my shop link still gets 34 errors….When I clear my cache with w3 total the errors disappear and the page is secure. Every time about 2 hrs after that the page is not rendering correct and showing error for insecure data. Im pulling my hair out trying to figure this out please help! thanks.

    I noticed there is a check box in w3 that says …..
    Cache SSL (https) requests
    Cache SSL requests (uniquely) for improved performance.

    its currently unchecked.

    G’day Rhino111,

    That’s a problem with W3TC configuration; you’ll need to take that up with their support.

    I personally prefer WP Super Cache because of its much simpler configuration and considerably less problems. I hear that WP Rocket is also good (the best, by many accounts).

    Hey thanks for the fast reply. So do u think thats my issue ….Happens almost every 2 hours on the nose back and forth

    Yup, that’s W3TC getting it wrong by default. You can try fiddling with those settings, they should fix it. Maybe. I’ve seen W3TC still get it wrong even with the “correct” settings though, especially when it tries to handle that plus minify plus CDN. If you stick with W3TC, hit them up for support on their support forum; they ought to have a handle on the problem by now (it’s not new).

    I have been searching for a support thread on this exact problem so I know exact ally what settings to apply as there are a lot of options. Do u have any other suggestions? there are always the same 34 unsecured issues when the errors appear. could I fix these manually when it happens again and then wouldn’t that solve it? Only problem Is i dont know where to look. All the errors are only on that one shop page though.

    You’ll need to open a support ticket with W3TC. I’m happy to provide support for one of my plugins; I don’t provide support for other people’s plugins.
