    Hello All,
I have the enfold theme and I am using woo commerce. I had problems with turning on SSL on the checkout which was causing a loop. I then got WordPress HTTPS. I went to the checkout page in the theme and ticked the secure page check box. Now the checkout page uses SSL and moves to the next stage. However the theme brakes and none of the stuff that makes it look good is loading. I get mixed content errors.

I have down loaded this insecure content filter but it does not work. I am using 123-reg host in the UK and I read it might have to do with some load balancing maybe? I tried the scrip but got no luck. I am really stuck and frustrated can anyone help? I need a solution that keeps all things safe. There could be a couple of dollars in it to anyone who can help if u got paypal!
    Kind Regards,
    Oriche’

    G’day oriche,

Looks like you do have a problem with WordPress testing is_ssl(), as confirmed by running the test script:

    https://spirugen.com/wp-content/plugins/ssl-insecure-content-fixer/is_ssl-test.php

However, you also seem to have something redirecting the website back to HTTP from HTTPS, possibly an interaction between WooCommerce and WordPress HTTPS. In the WooCommerce settings, turn off any options you have there for SSL, and leave that job to WordPress HTTPS. Alternatively, deactivate WordPress HTTPS and let WooCommerce handle the problem.

Actually, I’d start by deactivating WordPress HTTPS, and also SSL Insecure Content Fixer. WooCommerce should be handling SSL just fine by itself, as long as you have Force SSL URL Scheme activated.

    cheers,
    Ross
