• Good morning all!

Quick question. On my site, some of the content is insecure. I have checked the permalink on images, posts and pages…. and they are all https but for some reason, I am still getting the ssl error when visiting the site.

has anyone ever had this issue or know what I should do to address? I’ve already forced https…

It’s happening on the home, about, reviews and faq pages

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

First, I get this warning visiting your site: NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID Are you using a self-signed certificate? If not, where did you get it?

    Once there, I see

Mixed Content: The page at 'https://www.gymviperproducts.com/' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure element 'https://www.gymviperproducts.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Heea9b4544b4847ad8a5e0197f690fcda2.jpg'. This request was automatically upgraded to HTTPS, For more information see https://blog.chromium.org/2019/10/no-more-mixed-messages-about-https.html

That seems to be one of the images in your slider.

It is self-signed. I purchased it through Namecheap.

I attempted to reinstall in CPanel…to no avail…

How did you find that notice? It’s not appearing for me?

you purchased a self-signed certificate? That’s not good.

Does your host support Let’s Encrypt? That’s the free cert you should be using.

I just took a look at the applications…I did not see one for let’s encrypt in cpanel.

I found the image that was referenced above. If I delete, should this fix the error?

The permalink in the media gallery does say “https” not “http” as it shows above

Delete and re-add the image or update it in your slider. A self-signed cert will not work for you; it will block visitors. Contact your host regarding Let’s Encrypt.

Oh, you’re hosted by GoDaddy. They don’t support Let’s Encrypt. If you want a cert, you’ll have to pay them for one.

Or maybe consider a new host that supports Let’s Encrypt – lots to choose from.

Hey, guys! So, thank you so much for helping me! I figured out the problem. It was a me error. I did not update the cname record to reflect and point towards the correct certificates.

I just got the website up and it is running seamlessly now! Thank you so much for helping me troubleshoot this error. You are greatly appreciated!
