• I installed this plugin to give it a try.
In the set up wizard I was asked what page builder I want to use, I chose Gutenberg.
While editing a page I saw that Ultimate Add-Ons for Gutenberg was installed. Without any notice and all modules activated. Maybe it happend after chosing a template?
In my opinion it is a bad idea to just install a third party plugin without any notice. This is not transparent and I dont know what else might be installed. I dont trust these kind of strategies.

First off thank you for taking your time to write a review.

Let me make it clear that CartFlows NEVER installs any plugin, and we completely agree with you that doing that is a horrible idea which is why we would NEVER do it.

There are only 2 instances where CartFlows would offer to install a 3rd party plugin,

Onboarding (which itself is optional) https://share.getcloudapp.com/7Kuo1q6A

In our onboarding process we offer to install WooCommerce and depending on which page builder you would like templates for, we offer to install that builder.

We OFFER, we NEVER automatically install anything.

For example, during our onboarding if you choose to use Elementor as your page builder but don’t have it installed, we OFFER to install Elementor for you. This is completely based on choices the user makes, and we clearly notify the user that based on their selection WooCommerce, Elementor, or Ultimate Add-ons for Gutenberg will be installed.

Here are the screenshots of the onboarding steps where we OFFER to install required plugins based on what users select:
    – WooCommerce https://share.getcloudapp.com/JruDAGp0
    – Beaver Builder https://share.getcloudapp.com/nOuPE9Ld
    – Ultimate Addons For Gutenberg https://share.getcloudapp.com/7Kuo1qW1
    – Elementor https://share.getcloudapp.com/geug8dP0

At any point this step could be skipped.

Installing Templates (this is also optional)

Outside the onboarding, we allow a user to choose their desired page builder for our included templates. Also in this case if the user makes a selection, we clearly notify the user that the page builder is required and OFFER to install it.

    Here is an example https://share.getcloudapp.com/L1uBKWv7

As you can see never do we automatically install anything.

Sorry for adding the emphasis on the word OFFER, but I want to make it crystal clear that CartFlows has never and will never automatically install anything.

So we completely agree with you that doing anything at all like that is a bad idea. What is unfortunate is that you have given us a poor rating for something we didn’t do, have never done, nor would ever do.

Hope that clears things up :-).
